We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts Manager to oversee spare parts planning, procurement, inventory, distribution, and after-sales support for a multi-brand home appliances business. The role will ensure the right parts are available at the right time while maintaining optimum inventory levels and efficient service operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end spare parts operations, including planning, procurement, inventory, storage, and distribution.
• Develop spare parts requirements based on product sales, service demand, historical consumption, and forecasted requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely procurement and availability of critical parts.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, slow-moving, and obsolete parts.
• Monitor spare parts movement across warehouses, branches, and service centers.
• Establish proper systems for part identification, coding, inventory tracking, and stock control.
• Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and warranty claims.
• Analyze spare parts consumption, demand patterns, ageing, and inventory turnover and prepare regular reports.
• Monitor warranty-related spare parts usage and coordinate with relevant teams for proper documentation and claims.
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead time, quality, availability, and replacement of defective parts.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock transfers, consumption, returns, and obsolete/damaged parts.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency, procurement cost, service turnaround time, and parts availability.
• Lead and guide the spare parts/store team and ensure adherence to operational procedures.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in spare parts, after-sales service, inventory, or technical operations, preferably in home appliances, consumer electronics, automotive, or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of spare parts identification, inventory planning, procurement, and warehouse operations.
• Experience working with ERP/software-based inventory management systems.
• Good analytical and reporting skills with the ability to work with inventory and consumption data.
• Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience handling spare parts for home appliances, consumer electronics, or multi-brand service operations will be preferred. A Mechanical Engineering background will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
