We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations for a leading consumer electronics business. The role involves sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory planning, and ensuring the timely availability of electronic products while maintaining optimal costs and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electronics procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and demand forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for consumer electronics, home appliances, and related products.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and supply agreements to maximize profitability.
• Manage the complete purchasing cycle, including purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and delivery coordination.
• Analyze sales trends and inventory levels to forecast purchasing requirements.
• Ensure optimum stock levels and minimize stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams for smooth procurement operations.
• Monitor market trends, new product launches, competitor activities, and pricing movements.
• Handle import-related procurement processes, including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop long-term strategic vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Experience

• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of consumer electronics, home appliances, and related product categories.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and vendor management.
• Understanding of import procedures, international sourcing, and logistics coordination.
• Strong analytical, planning, and inventory management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
