Job Description

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements, specifically for trading activities.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: Oversee inventory records, calculate cost of goods sold (COGS), and manage stock valuation.
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
•  Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including VAT, TDS, and corporate tax filings.
• Month-End Close: Lead month-end/year-end closing procedures and reconcile account balances.
• Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Team Supervision: Review work and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Tally Prime systems (e.g., Prosee, Tally) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience, often with a focus on trading, import/export, or distribution industries.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred).
