Position Objectives:

The Counselor at Education Consultancy is responsible for providing expert counseling and guidance to students seeking educational opportunities abroad. This role focuses on assisting students through the entire application and placement process, ensuring their successful transition to desired educational institutions.

Responsibilities

Student Counseling and Guidance:

• Provide detailed counseling to students on educational opportunities, university selection, courses, and visa procedures.
• Assist students in understanding financial documentation requirements and support them in meeting financial obligations for studying abroad.

Application and Enrollment Assistance:

• Guide students through the application and enrollment process, including document preparation, application submission, and visa documentation.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of student applications in collaboration with the Documentation Officer.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Uphold exceptional customer service standards throughout the counseling and application process.
• Address student inquiries, concerns, and challenges promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Destination Managers to align counseling strategies with specific destination requirements and educational offerings.
• Work closely with the counseling team to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.

• Collaborate with other destination counseling units to ensure seamless support and provide alternative counseling sessions for students whose profiles may not align with their initially sought destination or who are seeking guidance for other destinations.
• Facilitate cross-unit communication and cooperation to ensure that all students receive personalized and comprehensive counseling that aligns with their educational goals and intended destination, helping to retain student engagement and satisfaction with Education Consultancy's services.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor student counseling outcomes and placement progress, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to placement success.
• Prepare regular reports on student counseling activities, application progress, and customer feedback for management review.

Continuous Professional Development:

• Stay updated with educational trends, visa regulations, and university requirements to provide accurate information to students.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance counseling skills and knowledge of study destinations.

Test Preparation Student Engagement:

• Encourage students who have received counseling but have not taken an English proficiency exam to enroll in Education Consultancy test preparation classes.
• Implement strategies for converting test preparation students into successful applicants in coordination with the counseling team.

Event Participation and Representation:

• Represent Education Consultancy at seminars, events, and educational fairs to engage with prospective students.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in student counseling or related fields.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
