Specific Attributes

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally and Excel, possess strong knowledge of banking, LC documentation, inventory control, and cost analysis, and be capable of maintaining accurate financial records both digitally and physically.
 

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in import/export or trading companies.
• Familiarity with transport account settlements and local logistics accounting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external parties (banks, vendors, transporters).

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records in Tally ERP.
• Prepare, reconcile, and analyze transport accounts (local transportation-related expenses and settlements).
• Handle LC (Letter of Credit) documentation, tracking, and coordination with banks.
• Prepare detailed product costing sheets using Excel.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and coordination with warehouse teams.
• Perform bank reconciliations, and daily coordination with banks for regular operations.
• Maintain physical files and documentation systematically for easy retrieval and audits.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas), and basic MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of LC procedures, inventory accounting, and costing is essential.
• Strong understanding of banking transactions, fund flow management, and reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (or equivalent).
