Job Opening: Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Location: Dillibazar, Kathmandu
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: NPR 20,000 – 25,000 (Based on experience and performance)

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager / Content Creator to take full ownership of our digital storytelling and online brand presence. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content, thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, and has a deep understanding of how to grow and engage communities on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

Requirements:

  • Strong creative skills in photography, videography, editing (Reels, Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools).

  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling ability tailored for different platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.).

  • Passionate about social media trends, digital culture, and visual storytelling.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage a consistent content calendar tailored for each platform.

  • Align social media strategy with overall marketing campaigns, brand goals, and seasonal priorities.

Creative Content Creation

  • Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality content (photos, videos, reels, stories, carousels).

  • Write compelling, on-brand captions and use relevant hashtags to drive reach and engagement.

  • Maintain a visually cohesive and aesthetically strong feed.

Growth & Engagement

  • Increase followers, reach, and engagement across platforms using organic and strategic methods.

  • Build meaningful connections by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.

  • Foster a loyal and active online community.

Influencer & Brand Collaborations

  • Identify and manage collaborations with influencers and content creators.

  • Coordinate and curate user-generated content to expand reach and authenticity.

 Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and platform trends.

  • Deliver monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest platform updates, content trends, and algorithm changes.

  • Experiment with new formats (memes, transitions, challenges, live sessions, etc.) to stay ahead.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, design, and product teams to support campaigns and product launches.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Experience

1+ year experience managing social media for a brand or business.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
