Position Objectives:
Admissions Manager (AM) is a pivotal role within the organization responsible for overseeing all aspects of student application processing and coordinating activities with regional offices, onshore offices, and business associates. Reporting directly to the General Manager (GM), Admissions Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all student applications meet institutional criteria and compliance standards.

Essential skills, abilities& knowledge

  • Knowledge and Expertise: In-depth knowledge of student admissions processes, visa regulations, and institutional criteria for various overseas universities and colleges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders including counselors, students, and institutional representatives.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess student applications, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications, CRM systems, and other software tools used for admissions management and documentation.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Admissions Department: Direct and manage a team responsible for handling student applications, enrollment, fee payments, and visa processing.
  • Application Processing Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely processing of student applications, including document verification, matching student profiles with institutional criteria, and compliance with visa requirements.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with Counselors, Documentation Officers (DOs), Business Development Officers (BDOs), and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to facilitate seamless application processes and document submission.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to admissions team members to enhance their skills in application processing, document verification, compliance, and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Onshore Office Application Handling: Oversee and manage student applications from onshore offices (e.g., Australia), understanding and addressing specific requirements and regulations applicable to onshore students.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop strategic plans to optimize the admissions process, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with changing regulations and institutional requirements.
  • Policy and Procedure Adherence: Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to student admissions and visa processing.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student applications, admissions decisions, and visa approvals, and provide regular reports to the General Manager.
  • Staying Updated on Policies: Stay abreast of new policies and regulations related to student offers and visa lodgment for Australia, Canada, USA, UK & New Zealand, and ensure compliance within the admissions process.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions management or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and success.

Education

University degree in a related field, preferably obtained from a foreign university.
