Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the jewelry store, ensuring smooth functioning, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.

Salary

40000 Per Month (For 2 months Probationary period)
50000 Per Month (After 2 months)
Incentives based on performance

Responsibilities

1. Operational Management:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee inventory management, including procurement, stocking, and merchandise selection.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Streamline processes and workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.

2. Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

3. Sales and Marketing:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Identify market trends and consumer preferences to drive product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the store team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Encourage teamwork, creativity, and innovation to drive business growth.

5. Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expansion initiatives to capitalize on market trends.
  • Evaluate business risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of the curve.

Experience

  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in the retail or jewelry industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business results.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
