Specific Attributes

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our extensive range of electrical products, including lighting, modular switches, MCBs, switchboards, cables, wires, and various electrical accessories designed for both domestic and industrial applications.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting, switches, MCBs, switchboards, cables, wires, and other electrical accessories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and sales closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend meetings and events.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers, including contractors, electricians, architects, and consultants.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our electrical products.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and tenders to potential clients.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to meet customer needs and resolve any issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and performance against targets.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our products and services.

 

Experience

Proven experience in sales of electrical products, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

 

Education

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
