Job Purpose:

Responsible for prospecting new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients and develop a rapport with them as well as define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. In addition, work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization. Furthermore, strategic planning is a key part of this job description.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibility Area

  1. Regular monitoring of Brand distribution channels, keep records updated and report to Top Management as a when needed.
  2. Identify potential channels and proactively recruits new qualifying channel partners.
  3. Find new markets for Company, analyze and present to Top Management.
  4. Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business. Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
  5. Coordinate with National and Regional Sales Manager in order to understand the performance of channels as per the Industry trend. Make appropriate recommendations to ensure long-range planning needs are met.
  6. Maintain a reliable communication mechanism with sales, marketing and business development departments to ensure efforts are in line with objectives.
  7. Initiate marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts.
  8. Prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives.
  9. Conduct market research to understand customer needs & preferences and discuss on the promotional activities need to be done with the Top management.
  10. Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses etc. and suggest possible solution to recover any sales loss or shortfall.
  11. Regular monitoring of Inventory position and plan sales of High ageing inventory. Disseminate all inventory related information to all concerned departments timely.
  12. Regular visit to the channels to monitor proper display of products and promotional materials. Coordinate with marketing department for the improvements required.
  13. Regular checking of Company showroom cleanliness, staff dress and their presentation.
  14. Regular checking of FSTs and ISDs product knowledge and customer handling.
  15. Coordinate with Company trainers for any sales staff training required.
  16. Deal as a PIC for all queries related to channels, market coverage, geographical expansion, Sales planning & execution, Sales trend, Sales improvement etc. generated by Principal Companies and Business Development Training
  17. Guiding training and development talent pool
  18. Promoter’s management
  19. B2B product planning and management
