Job Specifications:

• Must have good knowledge of operating Accounting software packages
• Must be willing to learn the software package employed by the Company
• Must be able to employ analytics to create meaningful management reports on a timely basis
• Must be energetic, resourceful, willing to learn and participate in company affairs, and be a strong team player
• Must have strong knowledge of the statutory taxes applicable in the country
• Must have strong knowledge of Banking processes and transactions in order to perform the duties as defined above (see Job Description)
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for maintaining the overall accounting system
2. Preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger and tally accounting software.
3. Preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned
4. Implement accounting systems and processes
5. Reconcile income statements.
6. Prepare monthly financial reports
7. Prepare Cost Sheets
8. Prepare Monthly VAT Returns and file
9. Check if ETDS are done in timely manner
10. Control the master data of the general register.
11. Ensure compliance with state revenue service.
12. Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support.
13. Manage the full financial process.
14. Prepare an expense budget report.
15. Maintaining the purchase and sales book.

Experience

5 years and above into core accounts role ( from strong basics to preparing P & L, monthly closing & cost accounting)

Education

Min. Bachelor's degree
