Job Post: Sr. Sales Officer

Job  Specification:

• Should be energetic, resourceful, willing to learn and participate in company affairs, and be a strong team player
• Must have good interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills
• Must have basic computing knowledge and be able to use MS Office, Email and Internet
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must own a two-wheeler.

Responsibilities

• Increasing the business volume by presenting and selling to the current and potential customers through the primary and secondary markets.
• To prepare schedules of work and implement the sales journey plan on a day to basis and ensure coverage, volume and value fulfillment and distribution
• Motivate Junior Team Members
• To effectively manage the distributor in the realization of targets fixed.
• To follow up new leads and referrals resulting from field activities.
• To identify sales prospects and contact them and other accounts as assigned.
• To develop and maintain sales material and current product knowledge.
• To establish and maintain current distributor, customers and potential prospect relationships for consistent retention.
• To prepare and manage account services through quality checks and other follow up.
• To identify and effectively trouble shoot customer/distributor issues in the field.
• To communicate new product and competitive opportunities, special developments information or feedback gathered through field activity to the appropriate authorities concerned.
• To participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and events.
• To follow up and realize collections of payment in the market.
• To co-ordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.

Experience

4-5 years + in construction / sanitary / plumbing / paints sector

Education

Bachelors / Masters degree
