Specific Attributes

Job Title: Wine Merchandiser
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Wine Merchandiser to ensure our products are well-presented, properly stocked, and performing effectively at retail outlets. The ideal candidate will visit a set number of customer locations daily, monitor product placement and sales trends, identify gaps or issues, and communicate insights to the sales team. This is not a sales role — the merchandiser’s main responsibility is to audit, report, and support the sales function by providing on-ground visibility and feedback. Please note, this is not a fixed 9-to-5 job; since shops generally open around 11:00–11:30 AM, the workday may start around 10:30 AM and finish around 6:00–7:30 PM depending on route and visits.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of retail operations and product display standards.
  • Must have own motorcycle and be a confident rider.
  • Must be energetic, disciplined, and proactive.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Proficiency in using mobile apps or digital tools for reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and report preparation.

Compensation:
• Salary range: NPR 20,000 – 25,000 per month.
• Travel allowance provided.

Responsibilities

  • Visit at least 20 retail customers/outlets daily as per assigned route.
  • Check wine placement on shelves, visibility, and adherence to display standards.
  • Record stock levels — what is selling, what is not, and any slow-moving or out-of-stock items.
  • Ensure promotional materials (banners, wobblers, standees, etc.) are properly placed and maintained.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on product performance, stock availability, and competitor activity.
  • Identify potential reorder opportunities and communicate them to the sales team (not responsible for taking orders).
  • Interact with store staff or customers to understand issues, collect feedback, and inform the concerned department.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with store managers and retail partners.
  • Ensure all visits are documented properly with photos or digital records as per company policy.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the wine, liquor, beverage, or FMCG
industry.

Education

Bachelor Running or Completed
