Specific Attributes

• Should have good knowledge of operating Accounting software packages
• Should have strong knowledge of the statutory taxes applicable in the country
• Should have strong knowledge of Banking processes and transactions in order to perform the duties as defined in Job Description
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Day to day book keeping and data-entry
• Preparation of management reports
• Tax filing and Vat filing
• Preparation of month-end accounts and annual financial statements
• Liaising with the auditors during the annual financial auditst
• Working for tax clearance for company
• Performing statutory tax compliance duties
• Supervise and perform day-to-day Banking functions: cash transfers, L/C documentation preparation, submission and follow up, foreign party payments via RTGS/ Demand Draft, Bi Bi Ni issuance and submission to Bank, liaise with Bank personnel etc.
• Other duties considered reasonable in line with the position and in the normal course of business

Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
