Mr. Ummed Singh Jain has been teaching various papers of ACCA course at “BMJOBS ” since 1998. He had passed Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of U.K. (ACCA) in 1978.

He was awarded with “Moti Lal Dhandhania Gold Medal” for having stood first in the aggregate at B.Com Exams in 1968. In the same year he got “Bank of India Prize” for having stood first in the first chance at the B. Com Exams 1968 with Banking as a special subject. Similarly on 1968 he got Silver Medal for having secured the highest percentage of marks in economics at B.A and B. Com Exams taken together. Likewise he obtained “Best student of Scotland Prize” from Scottish National Certificate and Diploma in Business Studies in 1971 and 1972 respectively.

He was Director in “Janki Maida Mills (P) Ltd.” and “Everest Iron & Steel (P) Ltd” in 1976 “. In the year 1979 Kathmandu Brick (P) Ltd. a mechanical Brick plant in Private sector was set up, in the course he visited Germany. U.K. and Switzerland under UNIDO sponsorship to collect information on brick industry particularly landfill operation in those countries. In 1991 he was involved in GTZ funded program for reducing the fuel consumption in brick industry by introducing Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln. He is the Chairman of KBF Pack (P) Ltd. a disposable container unit since 1998.

On 14 Nov.,2007 he was awarded with “ACCA Achievement Award 2006” for helping nurture a new generation of accountants at a time when the country had no national professional body and he was decorated with the ‘face of ACCA in Nepal’.
